Raphaël Ménard

    Raphaël Ménard is an architect and DPLG Paris-Belleville engineer. He is a graduate of École Polytechnique (1997) and École des Ponts ParisTech (1999).

    Raphaël Ménard began his career at RFR in 1999. His work included the design of the Simone de Beauvoir footbridge in Paris and the glass roof of Strasbourg train station.
    In 2003, he founded Elioth, a team of designers specializing in low-carbon innovation. Elioth was acquired by the Egis group in 2011, where Raphaël headed up the forward planning department in addition to his operational duties.
    In 2014, he created 169-architecture, a laboratory for experimental architecture.
    Since 2013, Raphaël Ménard has co-directed with Jean-François Blassel and taught in the DPEA PoCa Post-Carbone postgraduate program at the École d'architecture de la ville & des territoires Paris-Est.
    Chairman of the Arep Management Board since 2018, Raphaël Ménard was appointed head of the new architecture and environment department within the SNCF Gares & Connexions executive committee at the end of 2020.
