Financial support

    To help finance their studies, students can, under certain conditions, benefit from financial and material support from the Crous, the Region, the Université Gustave Eiffel or directly from the school: grants, one-off assistance, housing or health aid, or even mobility assistance.     Scholarships and assistance from the Crous de Créteil

    - Social grants
    Social grants are monthly financial assistance paid to students from September to June, designed to help students from the most modest backgrounds. The Dossier Social Etudiant (DSE) is the single procedure for applying for grants and university residence accommodation. Applications are made online from January to May. Students receiving grants are exempt from registration fees and CVEC.

    - Merit-based aid
    Complementary to the scholarship based on social criteria, merit-based aid is automatically awarded to students who obtained a "very good" mention in the last baccalaureate session.

    -Aide Spécifique Allocation Annuelle Culture
    Students (with or without a grant) experiencing long-term financial difficulties may be entitled, under certain conditions, to a specific annual allowance. The ASAAC can be combined with other forms of aid, such as social grants, international mobility aid, merit-based aid and one-off grants. Find out more here.

    The student residence, located on a plot of land belonging to the school, is managed by the Crous de Créteil: 100 beds are reserved in priority for students enrolled at the school.

    Aid from the Region

    The region provides support for students in a variety of ways: help in finding internships, psychological support, financial aid, etc. Log on to the page dedicated to regional aid for students in the Paris region or visit the regional orientation website.

    School grants

    The School has set up an educational assistance fund to support students (with or without scholarships) who are experiencing serious financial difficulties. Assistance can take the form of financial aid, support for the purchase of equipment, a contribution towards the cost of an educational trip, or credits to the student's photocopy card.

    - monitoring
    During your studies, you can take part in a range of paid extra-curricular activities in the form of a monitor (library, model workshop, participation in "cordées de la réussite", exhibition mounting, tutoring, etc.).

    University assistance

    All the accommodation services of the Université Gustave Eiffel are available on the platform Studapart*.

    - CFA Descartes housing assistance

    • Avance LOCA-PASS: assistance to pay rent and service charges to the landlord.
    • Aide mobili-jeune*: housing assistance that covers part of a student's rent for the duration of their work-study program.
    • Garantie visale: housing assistance to cover unpaid rent and damage to property.

    **- driver's license assistance
    A zero-interest loan to finance a driving license, reserved exclusively for apprentices under contract with the CFA Descartes.
