Manon Espinasse
Manon Espinasse (1995) is a qualified architect and urban planner, currently pursuing a PhD in architecture and urban planning.
After graduating from ENSA Bx in 2019 with a research master's degree (bachelor's degree from ENSA Paris La Villette), she is pursuing a master's degree in urban planning at IATU (Bordeaux Montaigne) from 2019 to 2021.
She is interested in the relationship between transport infrastructure and territories. Her research master's degree in architecture (2017-2019) raised questions about the evolution of motorway infrastructure. Her master's degree in urban planning, undertaken as an apprenticeship in the Bordeaux Métropole community, involves reflection on the long-term nature of land use planning, as part of a European project on tools for managing UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Since 2022, she has been preparing a PhD thesis under joint supervision at the LVMT (Laboratoire Ville Mobilité Transport) and the OCS (Observatoire de la condition suburbaine), in CIFRE at Bordeaux Métropole, entitled: From motorway landscapes to the emergence of project territories. At the same time, she teaches occasional courses on public policy and infrastructure from a planning and architecture perspective.
