Entry to Year 1 of the Licence (L1)

    Who is concerned?
    Applicants who hold or are preparing for the French baccalauréat; holders of a French baccalauréat who have completed a year of higher education (reorientation); French applicants who hold or are preparing for a diploma exempt from the baccalauréat; applicants who hold or are preparing for a European Union diploma equivalent to the French baccalauréat; applicants who have been granted refugee status.
    Candidates of French nationality who have followed a course of study abroad not equivalent to the French baccalauréat and who wish to continue their studies in French higher education also go through this procedure.

    National schedule for the parcoursup platform for the 2025/2026 campaign From November 2024 to January 2025

    • November 2024 to January 2025: discovery of courses on the website Parcoursup
    • January 15, 2025 to March 13, 2025: registration and formulation of wishes
    • March 13, 2025 to April 2, 2025: finalization of online applications
    • Late May to early June 2025: main admission phase

    The admission process
    Admission is in two phases:
    1st phase: application and grades:
    The first phase takes place via the platform Parcoursup. For each applicant, it takes into account all the averages from the first year of secondary school and the first 2 reports from the last year of secondary school (all types of baccalaureate included).
    The admission procedure and the documents required (dematerialized) according to profile are detailed in the platform Parcoursup for the 2025/2026 campaign.
    Candidates with an average of less than 7/20 in all subjects will not be considered.
    Candidates with an average of less than 10/20 in French (first year continuous assessment and early tests combined) are not considered.
    At the end of this first phase, around 600 applicants will be invited to the 2nd phase via Parcoursup.

    The 2nd phase: the interview :
    Candidates selected in the first phase will be notified via Parcoursup that they have been invited to a face-to-face interview at the school, which will take place in spring 2025.
    Only applicants living outside mainland France will be eligible for a distance interview, on request and with supporting documents.
    The interview will last around ten minutes. No production will be allowed. Candidates will be able to refer to the training project they have drawn up in their application.

    Admission results
    From May 30, 2025, admitted candidates and those on the waiting list will receive notification of their ranking via the platform.
    The number of places available for the start of the 2025/2026 academic year is set at 120 first-time entrants.
