Andre Tavares
André Tavares is a visiting professor at Éav&t as part of the I-Site Future programme coordinated by Gustave Eiffel University. He is currently working on a research project entitled ‘On the trail of fish. The impact of marine life on the built environment’.
André Tavares is the founder of Dafne Editora, a publishing house based in Porto, which he has run since its creation in 2006. Together with Diogo Seixas Lopes, he co-edited the journal Jornal Arquitectos (2013-2015) and co-curated the fourth Lisbon Architecture Triennale in 2016, The Form of Form. His book The Anatomy of the Architectural Book, published in 2016 by Lars Müller in collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA), explores the intersections between publishing and architectural cultures. He is a researcher at the School of Architecture of the University of Minho in Guimarães.
