Ekko Archi

an educational program run by students and young architects who have graduated from the school, for middle-school students in the Paris region.

Based on architectural and cultural visits and practical workshops, Ekko Archi enables young people to discover and analyze the interactions between architecture and other artistic disciplines such as fashion, design, literature, music and graphics, while sharpening their curiosity and civic-mindedness.

Over the course of a semester, students take part in themed sessions one Saturday a month, prepared by their supervisors and alternating between outside visits (exhibitions, architectural tours, monuments, etc.) and workshops (drawings, models, collages, etc.) at the School of Architecture. At the same time, the students produce a logbook, including short videos and articles. Restitution of the sessions on social networks is integrated into the pedagogical program, so that children who are not beneficiaries of the program can also benefit from the content. Students and recent graduates from the School of Architecture, who help to develop the program and lead the lectures, workshops and architectural tours on their own, also ensure that participants are made aware of the educational use of digital tools.
